Courtney T. Luecking, MPH, MS, RD, LD
Courtney is a doctoral student in the Department of Nutrition at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interests center on developing healthy lifestyle interventions that minimize the risk of chronic disease and discovering how to connect people and organizations with effective programs and enable them to implement and sustain change in a way that will allow the healthiest choices to become the easiest choices. Previous research experience focused on the metabolic effects of weight loss achieved through lifestyle changes, medications, medical devices, and/or bariatric surgery.
In addition to serving as the Awards & Honors Coordinator, Courtney serves as the State Policy Representative for the North Carolina Dietetic Association and the Legislative Chair for the Raleigh District Dietetic Association.
